First time camping here. Very nice campground. Clean and spacious for the most part. Hosts pleasant and accommodating. Nice beach area and boat ramp facilities. Would be nicer if you had more shower houses on site.

We just spent 3 days here last week and it was a very nice campground. The camp host was AWESOME when we were checking in we asked about the location of water to fill our tanks and immediately, he offered us a FHU site that had just recently been canceled. Of course we took it and it was right across (the inlet) from the beach area so we had great views of families playing. Cell service was good. Downfall is there is no camp store (common in COE parks), but the closet "store" had very limited hours so you had to drive into Carlyle

I stayed in the loop A area. The spot #48 was excellent. The pad was asphalted and pretty level. The campground host were very friendly and helpful. There was two negatives. The grass was getting a little tall and I couldn’t stay longer then a week.
