My comment has to do with Recreation.gov. This website booked myself and another family on the same campsite, same date. Thanks to Shane, of the Corp, and the camp host JT. The website's mistake was straightened out.

Spaces were a little close but staggered so it didn’t seem like it. Easy access. Clean and level sites.

The showers were clean and the campground well maintained. The beach area was nice and the kids has a great time.

Campground is very clean. Campsites are spacious. Camp hosts JT and Mel are always very helpful and always check to see if there is anything they can do to make stay better.

Even though not your fault you had a power outage on our 2nd night in the middle of the night so we left in the middle of the night due to excessive heat

We have stayed at several ACE campgrounds and this one was the worst we have stayed in. The bathrooms were not clean. Dirt on the floor every time I went in and the toilets looked as if they were not cleaned regularly. My wife had the same experience in the women’s room.
I know there was a lot of rain,but the grass had not been cut for at least a couple of weeks.

From I-57, take Old U.S. Highway 50 west for 22 miles to the Dam East Entrance road. Turn north and continue through the four-way intersection to the McNair Group Area.

The Spillway Loop does not have a shower house, or dump station. Campers are able to use the shower and dumpstation at the entrace of McNair throughout the non-peak season. *Shower House may not be open 7 days/week. |

Camping No-Show - Camping no-show customers who do not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by check out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date will be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit their reservation. If the no-show service fee is greater than the reservation amount, the customer will not be charged any additional service fees. |

Cancellation Fees - A $10 service fee is withheld from the refund anytime the customer cancels a camping or day use reservation. Depending on when the cancellation is made, it may be considered a late cancellation and additional fees may be forfeited.
