Very established. Big trees. Very long sites. Beautifully situated next to Carlyle Lake. Many sites look as though the folks intend to be there several weeks with front yard name signs, a few palm trees or other various lightings and lots of outdoor set up. The bathroom and laundry room were very clean and the staff friendly.

Manicured park setting, great staff, huge sites around the outside loop. More like an rv resort than a COE park.

It would be nice to have several benches at the playground for people to sit on and watch while the children play.

We enjoy camping at Dam West. However, the camp attendants on Saturday morning were not the friendliest.

This was our first time camping. Dam West was a great place to start our camping experience. Wendy was very gracious in making our stay at the campground a good one. She gave us important information and is a great assess to Dam West. Always had a happy smile! Bathrooms/shower house were immaculate! Kudos to those that who clean them. Looking forward to the next time. The grounds were mowed the day we checked in. Great crew did a job well done!
Our friends from up north who have camped at Dam West many times came down to camp with us and
commented how much they liked Wendy. We will be back!

Water in the shower was barely warm and turned cold.
Fire pit was the cleanest I’ve ever seen
