This is a wonderful, little campground directly on the river. The sites are shaded and you can watch the barges from your site. You can hop right on the Great River Bike Trail and ride for miles. It was great!

This campground has volunteer hosts now, even though the website said the booth was manned. It would be nice to have online check in as well. The river is beautiful here. We were here for one night only, so we just looked at fireflies. In the morning, we watched the pelicans before we left. I would stay again.

Only 51 typical Army Corp Engineer wonderful sites, on the banks of Big Muddy, nestled up to Illiniwek forest preserve and campground, fishing at lock and dam 14, EAGLES, great white pelicans, attached to the Great River Trail bicycle path with good coffee and taco stops. Take your bikes and and enjoy the easy 12 mile ride to Bettendorf and cross the new I-74 bridge pedestrian lane and enjoy downtown.

It is a very nicely run campground. It would be nice if there were more sites with a view of the river. Also access from the campground to the path that goes over the Dam would be really nice.

Very nice park on the Mississippi River. Clean. Paid $20 a night great deal. Would love to visit again. Not far from everything. Yet quiet.

Having the Host walk around and personally welcome us to the campground was nice. We ended up seeing her couple times a day which was nice. The grounds are kept very clean and neat. Restrooms are clean, showers adequate.
