Bathhouse was not cleaned over the weekend. Campground host allowed campers to park with wheels on the grass at their site when there are plenty of parking spaces in the campground. He was also careless with his mower around property belonging to campers.

This campground is a good place to stay if you want to visit the Quad Cities or Le Claire, Iowa.

The experience would have been perfect if not for the restricted firewood times. If you going to expect exclusive use of your firewood, then it should be available at all times. Or, at least, during the park's open hours.

Kathryn attendant fee lady so very kind and helpful.
Grounds kept mowed and limbs picked up.
Restroom a big NEEDS A THOROUGH CLEANING and update. Shower stalls moldy and milddew

We were heading west and stayed here 6 night's. I was intimidated because of no water at the site but there are many water spigots in the park. Can't leave your hose connected but bring a long hose.
We visited Le Claire where The Pickers have a store and there is a nice museum. We drove to The Field of Dreams movie site which was worth while.

Filthy restroom. Uncut grass. Pickups parked on grass because site is too short even though there are open parking spaces a few yards away. Dogs barking off and on all day. What is the camp host doing about it? Nothing.

Wish there was water nearer to our site. That said, the proximity to the Quad Cities and LeCaire, IA, makes this site a good one for sightseeing along the Mississippi.

Very nice campground with excellent views overlooking Mississippi River. Facilities clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay again.
