Hosts were rude and refused to wear masks. I urge fellow campers to pass this place up!!

This is a nice park with paved level (mostly) pads. All the ammenities except on site sewer. I've stayed at this park many times and enoyed all of them.

One of our favorite COE campgrounds. Excellent bike trail running up and down river. Also Illiniwek Forest Preserve nearby with hiking trails. We really enjoy watching the tugs and barges go through the lock. Campground is usually quiet, however some highway sounds, also railroad tracks running by with toots and whistles. Well maintained. Some sites do not allow view of the Mississippi.

Campground is lovely. We happened on it westbound across the country last year and made a point of stopping eastbound this year.

The sites were nice. The bathrooms were clean and showers had good water pressure. The bike path goes right along the park which is really nice!

Because of the virus, we did not use any of the public areas such as the bathroom. So, I can't comment on that. One recommendation is that the check in times are very limited and should be expanded or have the host drive around and check people in. If you are in a motor home, you can't really set up because you have to wait until check in time to drive up to check in. Not convenient.

Second time we've stayed here. This stop was only for a night. Campground is clean and well maintained. Nice setting on the bank of the Mississippi where you can watch the tugs and their barges headed downriver entering the locks. Did not use the bathrooms and showers this time so I hesitate to comment, butthey were clean when we stopped for a weekend last year.
