We camped a couple of nights in late August for our first time at Fisherman's Corner. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The campground hosts were friendly and helpful. We'll certainly keep it on our list and return if we are in the area.

Most of the water faucets did not work. Looking at the items in question it was the result of POOR maintenance.
Basically the employees just don't care!!! It appears the faucets could be adjusted with very few parts to be in great condition. Making sure campers have water is like a very BASIC service, you FAILED!!

Stayed at Fishermans Corner as a home base to explore the area... Visited the John Deere combine plant, the John Deere Pavilion and made our way to La Claire IA to see the American Pickers store and the Buffalo Bill museum. Capped off our visit with a dinner cruise on the river.
Really enjoyed the quiet evenings on the riverbank watching the barges and tugs navigating the locks... wish we could have stayed longer...
All facilities were clean, power was steady, and water hydrant was accessible from our site. The site was riverfront and plenty deep to accommodate our truck and travel trailer. Really great site at a really great price. Highly recommend.

The views and surrounding areas are beautiful, facilities are clean, it's a real gem of a campground. HOWEVER, there is major confusion with the online reservation and IN-PERSON MANDATORY CHECK-IN. One of my fellow campers was screamed at very unprofessionally by the man in charge of the little booth. From what I understood, there is a very small window of opportunity to do this check-in to begin with, as the booth is more often than not unmanned. I would gladly recommend this campground again with a stern warning about how they handled this situation.

Nice clean RV park, with the Mississippi River to watch the birds and the Tug boat going though lock 14. Pleasant to walk the dog
and see others.

Our overnight stay was a happy one. Fisherman’s Corner was easy to find and on our way to longer stops. The staff were friendly and helpful and the campground was well maintained. We appreciated the reasonable price. Our site was situated such that our city water hose was not long enough to connect to water. Happily, an kind nearby fellow-camper let us use the extra 50 foot hose he had for the night.

The spaces are very tight, but the grounds are clean and tidy. Everything worked. We had a site at the end of a loop and had some privacy, but you better like a lot of people around you to camp here. The location was great for an overnight stay. We enjoyed being up-close and personal with the Mighty Mississippi and walked to the park down the street to be able to walk out over the river. It is a busy place in the summer.
