Great site. Nice view. Had a little car trouble when we arrived. Other campers jumped right in to help. Great experience. Will definitely stay there again.

We love fishermen‘s corner! To be along the Mississippi river is lovely. Camping facilities are great and well patrolled. Having the bike trail run right past the campground is amazing and we have cycled the bike trail twice while camping. It’s a great place for us to meet up with members of my Iowa family as we are in Indiana so it’s a good halfway point for camping. Love it!💕

This was our first stay at government site! Also, our first trip in our new RV. We really enjoyed our site, views, ability to take nice walks & other really nice campers!

We arrived on an August Friday afternoon without a reservation and were able to find a very nice site for our 25 foot motor home. The sites are spacious and they are level. Back in, put the stabilizers down and hook up water power and sewer. Simple. Campground is clean and well maintained. Interesting to sit on a bench along the river and watch the tugs and barges on the river. Bathrooms are clean. Did not use the showers so I can't comment on them. Stayed two nights and would happily return if we were in the area again. As always, good job by the Corps of Engineers. Nice paved walking and bike trail runs past the campground and follows the river.

Nice quiet centrally located to the activities we were participating in. Easy to find, right off the highway. Interesting fact, my dad grew up right across the highway from this campground which was not there at that time. Depending on which site, some of them are interesting/challenging to back into, and you have to watch which site you choose if you are a longer unit. Nice view from most of the campground of the river. It was neat to watch the barges go down the river and into the locks. The locks are within walking distance along a nice bike/walking trail.
