The well-stocked camp store offers a variety of food options, and the campground's proximity to Lake Matoon adds to its charm. This is the best RV campground we have stayed at yet. Clean, plenty of room, well planned out when designing the spaces, and very well maintained. Staff was great to work with. We called on our way and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. If we get another chance we will be back for sure. Highly recommend this place.

Very clean with great service. Some spaces have a view of Mutoon Lake. Fenced in area for dogs. Special events are held behind the store. The store is well stocked and you can make pizzas there. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Relatively new with lots of FHU sites, some pull through. Friendly staff & a nice little camp store with food (including Morgan's Meats choices), liquor & beer with more than the usual choices. Located on Lake Matoon but no beach. There appears to be a marina right down the road from them, so maybe a beach there. Decent price, a few dollars cheaper during week (we paid $35 + tax on a Tuesday). I'd definitely stay here again, great overnight for us snowbirds.

FINEST RV CAMPGROUND.... EVER !
I've been fortunate enough since retirement to have RV'd to all the states west of the Mississippi (except Alaska/Hawaii) and all the states east except the New England ones (next). I have boondocked some but mostly used RV Parks, Governments and private owned. I have found most to be 3 to 4 star, and very few. 1 or 2. A RV camp to be 5 stat should be excellent in every form in my opinion and i have stayed in a few. When i pulled into this one i started thinking this one might be the one.
Starting with the friendly staff and big bundles of firewood for $5 i drove through this spacious camp to my spot, level and large. They have spots for small to large riggs, backin and drive thru. I plugged into a new 30/50amp & 110v box, attaching water filter and hose to a new fresh water hydrant and laying out my sewage lines to a well placed location. Sitting at the nice picnic table talking me wife i looked around, no neighbors parked right on top of me, recently cut grass and listening to a bird churp i spotted bird feeders by the edge of the tree line. A walked my dog over to check out the onsite general store in their office, it was well stocked with eggs, beacon, hamburgers, bread etc. They even had beer and wine. In the same structure was a large open area of picnic tables and large selection of board games. The restroom/showers where each individual rooms, new and spotless clean. ADA showers had handholds and flexable hoses that my wife prefers, the only one issue in the whole campground was no shower chair.
This is the longest review ive ever given and this place deserves it, a one of a kind 5 Star.

"My husband and I love camping and are always on the lookout for new campgrounds to try and switch things up. We recently stayed at this fairly new campground, and we were impressed! It's very nice and priced quite reasonably, especially considering the 30/50 amp full hookups.

The owner was extremely professional and polite when we made our reservation over the phone. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find a campground with a variety of spacious sites, including large pull-throughs (perfect for big RVs!). The sites are wide, level, and have a nice side yard of grass, which was a bonus.

The newer outbuildings are great for hanging out, family get-togethers, and the store/office area is convenient. The views are lovely, and it's right next to the lake. The laundry room and bathroom facilities are also very clean and well-maintained.

As a bonus, the campground is pet-friendly, and our Yoshi had a blast going on walks. A suggestion would be to add a few more pet waste stations with bags and garbage cans around the park.

This campground has been a work in progress, and clearly shows as this isa wonderful campground. One suggestion would be to plant a few trees for shade as the campground matures this will take some time but would really enhance the experience.

One last note: on Saturday morning, while we were enjoying our coffee outside, they decided to mow and weed whack the section we were in. The noise lasted almost two hours, so we had to head inside until it was done. Perhaps doing this during the week would be a better option to avoid disturbing guests on the weekend.

All in all, this campground is beautiful, and we will definitely be back!" Kudos to the owners and all there hard work!
