The bathrooms, the showers and the property were all unusually well maintained. Thank you to the local staff.

You probably should mow weekly because grass was high. Causing more chiggers

Rend Lake is our favorite place to camp, and we camp there several times a year. The past 3 times we have camped in North Sandusky we have noticed that the shower houses and restrooms have a horrible odor. Camping across the street from one of these buildings has become very uncomfortable due to the smell. I do not notice this in the South Sandusky or South Marcum campgrounds. I hope this issue will be addressed and remedied because North Sandusky overall is a great campground. However, I think it would greatly benefit from some over due updates!

Great campgrounds. Well kept, spacious and gorgeous location. No issues with electrical connection, slight grade for specific site but was aware ahead of time

North Sandusky is a great, affordable campground on Rend Lake! There is boating, fishing, biking trails, etc. The camp sites are spacious and all have large concrete pads, picnic tables, and fire rings.
Regarding #98 Hickory, it’s a beautiful spot- not directly on the lake but with lake views from across the way. There’s a lot of green space to back of the lot. It has partial shade but does get a lot of morning sun. We liked the way the back-in site and picnic table were set up and facing everything. We have Spectrum Mobile, which uses Verizon towers, and had 1 bar of LTE service so webpages and apps would not load, but we could still make phone calls and send text messages.
