Very beautiful place, but they need to do some tree trimming so limbs don’t rub down the side of your camper when pulling in and out.

Being an older person, we don't really take in a lot of activities. For the elderly among us, I have an issue with the asphalt pads. Some are starting to break off at the edges and are a tripping hazard. But all-in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Site 99 — we were very satisfied with our site, however the others up the road from us had sewer hookups. We did not, neither did #100. I chose as close to the water as I could, if I was aware of the sewer availability close by, I would have reserved there. We are very new to this so I have a lot to learn. It was great having showers available in the park.
I loved the shade & tree cover, but our Starlink was obstructed to the north so WiFi was non-existent. I will have to learn how to check for that when booking. Again, lots for me to learn.

North Sandusky is needing some gravel by each site, mud holes now. Fire pit also needing to be replaced.

The campground is a beautiful place and the camping spots were large with lots of shade! The only issue we encountered was when we went to the next loop over to visit our friends, the camp host was upset because we parked in an empty camping spot. We are aware that there should be rules regarding parking, but when one camper is visiting another camper, parking in an empty slot should not be a problem. Being campers, we are very aware that we would have to move our vehicle if the new camper arrived. Parking is also an issue, but parking two wheels on the grass (when it is not too wet) should not be a problem. Other than the parking issue, we will be camping at Rend Lake again.
