Campsite area was on a slant that led to the water. Good access to water, not so great for maneuvering with a cane.

Good, level site. Electric hook up available.
Rend Lake is the gem of Southern Illinois. It offers so much, fishing, seasonal hunting, hiking, biking, frisbee golf, picnic areas, and so forth. Many scenic views. It is a camper's delight.

Need to have back gate open 6am till 11 am. Need ripples taken out of turn around on maple. Might think about all full hookups.

Great camp host, very kind and informative. Beautiful scenery and clean spaces. Restrooms were well maintained and accessible. Camping sites were nice and easy to get in and out of. Stayed in White Oak braked up time the lake and loved the view. We will certainly be back for another trip; though I hear the weekends can get crowded.

This is by FAR the cleanest and best maintained campground we visit. The people that clean the shower house do a fantastic job. There are many sites that are easy to level on and the spacing between them is good.
