The site was great with the paved surface. The bathrooms at this campgrounds are deplorable and are in a bad state of repairs that are needed. I hope the government can give this campground some needed repairs and paint!!!!

I hadn't been camping here since I was a kid so I had no information regarding which sites were in shade versus full, all day long, blazing hot, sun. Unfortunately our borrowed pop-up had no AC. Some intel regarding the sites would be handy so, when you're booking and don't have AC, you'd know to avoid certain sites if possible.
The first shower I tried had the handle broken off. Of course I didn't find this out until I had already disrobed completely. So that was fun. This was my husband's first camping trip as an adult and I had to beg him to go. I think he would come back out with me if I picked a shader spot. It was quiet and the other campers were respectful and even helped us hitch up our camper when we had trouble.
I would come back, now that I've done some recon on the better sites.
