Always love camping at Bo Woods. Only negative is that site 44's gravel area gets really wet--and stays wet--longer than any of the other sites in loop 3.

Bo Wood, nice ACOE campground in central Illinois. Located on Lake Shelbyville, it seemed to have multiple lane access points for boats, though we didn’t indulge in that.
Wonderful hiking trails throughout the area, though you have to drive a few minutes to get to them.
The campground itself was clean, although in a busier season I could see it seemed well TOO packed, as the sites are close together.
Unfortunately the campground was hit by vandals a few weeks before we got there, so three out of four of the showers and other things, such a lights and out buildings were defaced and out of order.
We went in late October, days before the season was over, the fall colors were there, the water was crystal clear.
The area was very cool, hiking was good, and campground even late in the year was nice.
Oh, and having a senior pass makes it super affordable. Do it.
