Site 20 is a great size for a buddy site but there is absolutely no shade during the day. Luckily we brought pop ups.

Bo Woods is an outstanding extremely well maintained campground, as well as outstanding camp hosts, rangers and friendly campers.

Campground is clean and well managed. Check in is a bit late (4pm), but if site is empty, you can park and come back to check in. Very popular site for in state campers. Cell coverage is moderate with AT&T. Remote with small town nearby. Dining out is limited.

Our site was 135. Big, level site with plenty of shade and a view of the water. We were impressed by a worker coming in and cleaning the ash from our fire pit! Great dump site in that hose is provided to enable a flush out (many don’t have the hose). All persons were friendly and helpful.
