We love the campground & the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Once we got to our site we realized it wasn't full hook-up (that was on us, we made our reservation long ago & were more concerned about the site than the amenities, i guess!) the hosts were so accommodating & quickly helped us find a new site.
Beautiful area, lots of woods and plenty of boaters & fishermen enjoying, too. Our site had a large asphalt patch to camp on which was great, much less dirt getting in the camper. We were in a pull-thru site which ended up being really nice, we had a beautiful view out into the woods from our living room and under our awning!
We will definitely be back. This is a really tidy, updated campground that seems to be really well maintained, we highly recommend it!

We stayed in site 57 & the view was beautiful! It was the first time visiting this campground & we loved it. We are finding any of the campgrounds run by the Army Cor of Engineers are beautiful & well maintained. We stayed the last week of October 2022 & cannot wait to go back in warmer weather to enjoy all the park has to offer. I highly recommend this campground!

We had plenty of space at our site (#73), it was fairly level side-to-side, and an unexpected bonus was that we could reach a nearby water hydrant with our normal water hose, so filling up the fresh water tank could be done while parked. The park was nice and quiet while we were there, even on the weekend when most sites were filled. There is nice hiking on a couple of trails and along the waterfront, and the campground is fairly close to town which made it convenient to get groceries and find restaurants.
