What Guests Are Saying
Thomson Causeway is praised for its beautiful riverside camping, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. Campers appreciate the spacious concrete pads, proximity to nature, and stunning sunsets over the Mississippi River. While some concerns were raised about noise from barking dogs and a less-than-friendly host, the overall experience is highly positive, with many planning to return.

Thomson Causeway is a favorite campground. This year they have improved many of the pads to new cement pads. Most of the sites have both water and electric and shade. Can't beat the sunsets.

Thomson Causeway, an Army Corp of Engineers campground is a wonderful place to camp. Camping pads are cement. Many have water hookups. Ours had 50 amp service as well as 30. The cost is exceptionally reasonable (less than State parks). The view at sunset over the Missisdippi was stunning. I just wish people understood camping etiquette.
