We were only there for 2 nights but would have enjoyed the view of the river and sunsets for much longer. The 50 amp connection was stable & uninterrupted, which was great because we needed both AC units as the temps were in the 90s.
We also liked the way the sites are layed out with a decent amount of space. And the shade of the mature trees made sitting outside on the concrete patio enjoyable.
We brought water onboard, but we noticed several hydrants that we could have used for fresh water. Finally, the dump station on the way out could facilitate at least 3 rigs at the same time.
The only minor inconvenience was that we were unable to check in on the phone, as the phone in the ranger booth at the entrance was not working.

Very nice environment, easy to get around, comfortable place to be. We enjoyed the facilities and water.

We enjoy the great scenery, large campsites and good access to the river. It does seem to be a very buggy location though. Difficult to sit outdoors for very long and not be tormented by gnats and flies.

We loved the camping spot right on the water. The facilities were clean and even though it was HOT, the breeze off the water made it tolerable. Gorgeous sunset. Hope to go back!

Quiet and peaceful. To many Lilly pads on the back side to fish but a nice time. Going back next month!

Firewood can be purchased in the campground during the hours of 5 pm to 8 pm nightly for $6 per bundle from the on-site firewood shed. Use the QR code at the firewood shed to pay for firewood using a credit card. No cash or checks are accepted for firewood sales. |
