What Guests Are Saying
Thomson Causeway is praised for its beautiful riverside camping, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. Campers appreciate the spacious concrete pads, proximity to nature, and stunning sunsets over the Mississippi River. While some concerns were raised about noise from barking dogs and a less-than-friendly host, the overall experience is highly positive, with many planning to return.

Beautiful campground all around. Our site area was our entire group, right off the river. Peaceful, spacious, and overall a fantastic experience. Bathrooms were clean for shower and public use. Will definitely be going back annually with family group from here on out.

Site 60 is great for sunsets but be ready for the hot afternoon sun or strong west winds

We had the perfect site just a few feet from the Mississippi River. My wife had never seen a functional lock, so we we able to see a barge go through just a few miles up the road. The park was quiet clean. Out of the way but close enough to town to restock essentials.
