Beautiful campground! We were right on the water. Wild turkeys and groundhog showed up in our site. It was so quiet and peaceful. Huge site, very well maintained.

Very nice campground with lakeview sites. Be aware that some lake view sites are not level! We used every block and chock that we had to level our small trailer and the front was nearly flush to the concrete. Restroom and shower house was dated but reasonably clean. Lots of wildlife - wild turkeys made a daily circuit past our trailer. We stayed in the electric only loop which was wide open in September. The full hookup loop was pretty much full. We camped at Gun Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Campground hosts were very professional and helpful when I needed to extend my stay by one day. Camp sites as well as the campground, are very well maintained and clean.

Convenient, easy access from interstate. Many activities close by. The only con was very late check in - 4 pm. Some sites are full hookups.

There’s a new woman sitting in the booth. Not very nice. I think she makes up her own rules. I sure miss Jane!!!

This was a great place to stay. Initially we stayed because it was on our route to our destination. We liked it so much we stayed on the way back through. Our only complaint would be that the sites are definitely not very level.
