Great location for travelers and water sports enthusiasts. Just off interstate, large sites with ample spacing, great hosts. Arrived weekday around 6:00 p.m. and multiple sites available.

We arrived to a very well shaded site. It was clean with blacktop drive and concrete spot. Had about 2.5% grad but got it level without running up on blocks. Unfortunately it was almost 100* for two day so wasn’t real comfortable.

Clean well maintained campground. Roads are a little narrow for larger vehicles but navigable. A few low hanging tree branches but nothing too bad.

Great campground, nice and clean, well kept. Quite a few sites with FHU. Plenty of room. If you are a big rig it is best to unhook your tow in parking area across from the entrance. Will stay again when in the area.

From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. Turn left onto Gun Creek Trail/Larry Foster Parkway, then right onto Golf Course Road. Continue 1/2 mile to park entrance.
