Beautiful setting, nice staff, clean restrooms, very nice walk in sites. All would have been quite wonderful if it wasn't for the very loud train and its horn we heard throughout the night. I am not sure if it is a nightly thing but it made for a bad night's sleep!

Very nice sites. Must book on Recreation .gov only. No drop-in reservations for site. So plan ahead.

Adequate bathroom facilities, but could use a little more attention.

We loved the camp sink, filtered water bottle station, and showers! All of these amenities primitive camping much easier on a multi-stop trip. Our site was nice and shaded and easy to find. We're looking forward to our next trip to the Indiana Dunes!

nice campground with good sites and facilities. Do have to listen to background trains during the night, but the campground is located near an industrial area.

Great campground. I was in the Douglas loop. Really busy on the weekend. Host did a nice job of letting some party-ers know that it was quiet time at 11 pm and they needed to start using their 'inside' voices. They quieted after that. Everything worked well. Showers had ample hot water. Dish washing station was a welcome bonus. Clean park. I had an easy pull through site that was level right away. No hook ups but I have solar so not an issue for me. Water is available on site. The host and cleaners do a nice job of keeping the place welcoming. Mosquitos were abundant. Beach is close by. The 1933 Chicago World's Fair Houses are cool to drive by and take photos. Lots of amenities near by and easy to get to.
