Great experience at the Dunes! Sites had a lot of space between them. The ground was leveled and smooth for tent camping. Bathroom/Shower facilities were a bit old, but serviceable. Only critique was that there was no one to check us in when we arrived, but our site was prepped. Highly recommend!

It has great shad for the campsites. We came after a rain, so the mosquitos were really plentiful. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms and shower rooms were cleaned daily and there was a sink outside the bathhouse to wash dishes. We thought the beach was closer, but since we had younger kids we had to drive. We would stay there again.

This campground is conveniently located to the various Indiana Sand dunes points of interest. For RV'rs it has a dump station and fresh water supply hose at one end of the park but there are no site hook-ups so you'll need to come with the fresh water tank full and your waste tanks empty. Overall, the campsites are spaced comfortably so you're not on top of your neighbors. The parking area of each site is paved, fairly close to being level, the fire pits cleaned and campsites raked between visitors. The camp hosts during our stay were incredibly polite and helpful with offering information about any of the locations located in or around the park.

It’s great that it’s right next to the water, however the sites are far too close to each other and there is little foliage. Not private at all.

This was a very lovely campground. The hosts were amazing and had so much knowledge on the area. So helpful! Bathrooms were clean. Showers were clean and spacious with plenty of hot water.
There was some noise from the nearby trains and railway (not a big issue) and please keep in mind that there were a TON of mosquitoes- which I anticipated considering there’s bogs surrounding the area. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and it provided great access to Indiana Dunes and the beach.

We loved this campground! It’s beautifully set-up with lots of tree coverage. The bathrooms were clean by campground standards and the showers had good water pressure and hot water! We did end up leaving one night early due to incoming bad weather, and the mosquitos were INSANE, so be prepared for that in the summer.
