This is a nice campground, very close to the beach and the dunes, this site number three was a decent sized site. We had two large tents and a screen tent. This site was not that close to the bathrooms. There were some people being loud at night until about four in the morning talking and laughing, but I guess you'll get that at any campground potentially. The climate here in september was very damp and moist, even though it was 80 degrees and not raining.

The campsites are somewhat close together, but with enough foliage to feel private. The other campers were very considerate of trash, noise level, and each other's space. My friend and I stayed at an ADA site - the ADA spots are close to the bathrooms with a paved path between, the parking space gives enough room to comfortably exit a vehicle, and the fire pit was very thoughtfully raised and accessible from a seated position. There are bathrooms, showers, an outdoor dishwashing sink, and a bottle filling station, as well as dumpsters. There's a spot near the entrance to buy firewood, but the wood is pretty fresh and smoked a lot. Overall, a really good experience, and we plan on coming back next year!

Everything was fantastic minus that our neighbors were using a very LOUD generator. Just wondering why that would be allowed in a rustic campground. Lovely spot lovely trails but seriously we could hardly hear each other talk.

The sites were spaced out and screened by trees. The tent pad was level and spacious. The bath house was clean and had a bottle filling station as well as a sink to wash dishes. We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful campground.

Ranger was very helpful to check me in, even though it was late at night. She made sure I had both a map of the campground and of the Dunes National Park, and showed me where to find the visitor center. The sites were nice and it was great to have actual bathrooms and showers. I will def be back.
