What Guests Are Saying
Tipsaw Lake campground is a beautiful and peaceful destination with friendly and helpful camp hosts, Bobby and Janet, who enhance the camping experience. The campground features lovely wooded sites, clean restrooms, and well-maintained hiking trails, making it ideal for relaxation and nature activities. While there are some concerns about the lack of hot water in showers and the absence of a dump station, the overall experience is enjoyable, and many visitors express a desire to return.

Boat ramp was being repaired so we didn't have access to the lake very well.

The staff at Tip Saw noticed that the campground paving project would be an inconvenience to our stay. We were offered to be moved to Indian Celina campground only three miles away and an upgrade to full hookup! Both campgrounds were within Hoosier National Park, a truly beautiful area!

We were blown away at how lovely the campsites were, especially in the Dogwood Loop where we stayed in our tent. It was so peaceful sitting in a tall stand of trees enjoying the Hoosier National Forest.
Having a camp site without electrical or water hookups was worry free since we were located close to the the very new, very clean shower house.
The only thing that was a little disappointing was the lake itself and access. No dogs were allow on the beach (perfectly understandable), but there was seemingly no place to walk our pup along the lake and let him get it easily. Lake views were lovely though. My husband also enjoyed the challenging intermediate mountain bike path.
All in all, we had an excellent stay and will be back!

The campground was very clean and comfortable. Love all the shade but for a long camper with slide outs some were very close to the parking pad. Made it a little difficult to get in the site.
