I stayed at site 18 and loved it! It’s like each site has its own nook in the woods, it feels very secluded, like a true camping experience. The bathroom/ shower room was well maintained - it was honestly one of the best of anywhere I’ve ever camped. Each of the sites on the inner back of the loop seems to have a trail that leads directly to the bathroom/ shower house. There are also (at least) two latrine houses on the loop. Lonny (spelling?) was super helpful in pointing out sites around the area and personally delivered firewood to my site. The lake itself is not meant for swimming, but if you’d like that to be in your plans, Lake Tipsaw has a beach and is just three miles down the road. There is also a gas station about a mile away, for any necessities you may need.

Nice place that’s usually pretty quiet. Camp hosts make routine rounds and help enforce the quiet hours.
