Lonnie, the campground host, is always pleasant and helpful. The sites are spacious. The lakes are great for kayaks. There is plenty of hiking in the park as well as German Ridge which is just a few miles down the road.

All is good, managers here are good people and it seems they have too much to do by themselves.
The only problem I have is with the campground road, it’s deteriorating badly, needs to be replaced. You could pop a tire in the holes.

The park is clean and well maintained. It is normally very peaceful, which is why we go.

Great property. Large sites and quiet. Roads and pads need some work.

We really enjoyed our time at the Northface Loop. Overall it was very nice, quiet, incredibly clean vault toilets-there was literally no smell, and pretty wooded sites. The main thing we did not like was that there was SO MUCH poison ivy. It made it difficult with our daughter because we had to monitor her and not let her go into the woods at all because it was everywhere- even on the steps at the campsite.

We had extra car there because thought might have go to grandson ballgame while I was at work and cost me 24 dollars more which just isn't right
