Oak Lake RV Resort

Very happy with our stay. Would like to see more information on your website, especially prices. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because of the cost. Definitely the most expensive campground on the Campspot app, which is fine I guess. But I don’t understand why the other fees can’t be posted. 50$ to bring your own golf cart is pretty ridiculous, I guess we are good for the full season, but I’m not sure when we will be back so it may have been 50$ for 2 days. I didn’t catch the cost to rent one though, 7$ a bundle for firewood with a deal if you buy more, 5$ visitor pass. Not complaining about the visitor pass or firewood, just mentioning it to hopefully prepare others who come to visit.

The staff was friendly, the spot was clean and level, no power issues, water worked as it should. We didn’t use the bath house so not sure how they are, but it looks to be mainly seasonal campers and they were all very friendly.

We would definitely like to come back when it’s warmer and more active, but overall a very nice relaxing first camping weekend. I would be happy to give this campground 5 stars in another review if prices were more reasonable. 40/50$ a night and 5$ a night (preferably paid online in advance) for BYO Golf cart would be fair.

We had a great experience at Oak Lake RV Resort! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were always willing to help and made us feel right at home throughout our stay.

The lake is absolutely beautiful and was one of the highlights of the trip. It's clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax, swim, and spend time with family.

We were also impressed with the camp store. It was well-stocked, clean, and had everything we needed without having to leave the campground.

What I really appreciated was that, in my opinion, this is what camping should be. The sites have great shade from mature trees, the gravel sites are well-kept and practical, and you still have access to modern amenities and conveniences. It strikes a perfect balance between enjoying the outdoors and being comfortable.

Overall, Oak Lake RV Resort is a fantastic place for a family camping trip. Friendly staff, a beautiful lake, shaded sites, and a great camp store make it easy to see why so many people enjoy staying here. We look forward to coming back!

I've been to many campgrounds and I'll have to say this is by far the best. We came out last year when our sons in-laws rented a yurt a few times and loved it so much we got a seasonal site of our own. The owners and staff are amazing and always helpful. The activities they have for both adults and kids are above and beyond. Everyone we've met here is awesome. We feel like we have an extended family. We will be long time seasonal campers here. I can't say enough how great it is here. Thank you for all you guys do to make this campground what it is. Your hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed.

We’ve been camping for years and have stayed at a lot of campgrounds, but Oak Lake RV Resort has quickly become our favorite and will definitely be our go-to from now on.

From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. Tim went above and beyond by helping me back my camper into the site, which made setup so much easier and really set the tone for our stay. Throughout the weekend, the staff regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed. That level of care is rare and truly appreciated.

The campground is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Another pleasant surprise was the camp store, the prices were very reasonable, unlike many campgrounds where everything is marked up.

The campground was everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathhouse was clean. This was a family trip and we had our camper and it was so nice having the yurt and cabin options for our group that didn't have a camper. So many of the cabins are pet friendly, which was a requirement for us and isn't always easy to find. Very nice and enjoyable stay. Would definitely go back and highly recommend it as a great place to stay.
