We arrived on a Sunday and left Friday morning, which allowed us to miss the local weekend crowd. Our site was #91, in Bluegill Loop, next to the pond. It was beautiful, very private and quiet! Altogether, it was a delightful five days. We spent one day in Nashville, IN. We had never been there before and greatly enjoyed it.

Beautiful campground on the ridges of the Hoosier National Forest on the shore of Lake Monroe with great hosts who care for it like it is there own home. Lots of beautiful places to hike and kayak. One trail that goes from the campground to a bay of the lake needs some trail maintenance, but otherwise everything was great.

We stayed for one night and ended up paying for two because we wanted to spend more time there. The site was spacious and quiet and had easy access to a bathroom and shower as well as a playground. The kids loved the hike to the lake and we enjoyed the views. We will definitely be back!

Need fire pits that are not buried in the ground and the grates also. Don't like the fire pits that be are well above the ground. Some sites are being taken over by nature and they look messy. My stay be was good and quiet thank God.
