Staff & facilities are great! One bone to pick would be the new requirement to fill in personal information on an ipad while parked at the check in office. First, during times of Covid varients etc. it can be risky sharing a touchscreen. Next, we spend the time to fill in personal information online well ahead of check in so why have to fill in again while other campers wait behind us? Those of us with online reservations should breeze through with minimal formality.
Lastly, There can be a number of low hanging branches where large/tall RV's need to drive which could damage rooftop equipment & surfaces and we would like to see more attention paid to pruning. Thank you.

We tent camped at South Point. This is a beautiful, scenic campground that is very well maintained. There is plenty of space between sites to feel secluded. The campground was not busy during our stay. In fact, we had the entire end of the loop to ourself.
The staff were so friendly and were always working to keep the grounds tidy. A severe storm blew through one evening and knocked tons of sticks, leaves and branches down. The crew was out first thing the next morning clearing the roads and area of the debris.
The shower house was very clean. Even the pit toilets were very well maintained. They are solid structures sealed well from the elements so very few bugs get in. There was even a dryer sheet hanging over the air vent in the pit toilet to keep it smelling fresh!
We will definitely return to this campground as it’s very peaceful and comfortable.

We loved this campground! Nice, large sites, heavily shaded. Even though we were camp in 90 degrees, the shade helped us stay cool. Really appreciated that the showers were all individual rooms. We will definitely be back to this campground!

I’ve been camping here for 45 years. I’ve camped in the Blue Gill loop for 43 years. Ever since the new restrooms were installed the men’s room has had issues. Over flowing urinal and as a result odor, showers that don’t work properly. I’ve mentioned this before and never seen any change in the conditions.

Great venue - lots of tree cover and nice swimming area! Bathrooms were kept clean. Lots are a good size. Only negative is the gravel makes it difficult to drive in the tent pegs. Everything else was great.

The showers in the SP loop nearest the main road we’re out of order and the toilet paper was absent for the majority of Saturday morning in the women’s restroom.
Overall, the camping sites are clean and spacious.
