Since we'd never even heard of this campground before this late summer, we were pleased to find it was a nice, mostly quiet campground. We knew ahead of time that there was no sewer or water we were prepared for that. Our site was very level (always a good thing) although there are some not near as level. Our site was surprisingly spacious. We appreciated that it was paved with a picnic table. The shower houses were in need of some updating but were very clean. We would recommend this campground to others so long as they are aware of the limited hookups.

This small COE park has a paved interior road and level, concrete sites. Guests have to go to the park "next door" (West Overlook) to check in upon arrival. This park is in a very nice wooded area with trees trimmed so as not to interfere with campers. Most sites are spaced and staggered so you have plenty of room and aren't looking out your window into someone else's camper. It's a quiet park, although it is next to a street that can provide some noise from passing cars. There is a hiking trail in the park as well as access to sidewalks and bike paths that you can get some miles in on. Verizon has decent coverage here, but not the best data speeds. Good enough to work and stream 720p without buffering, though. There is a great walk-up restaurant just across the road called Funcrest. We liked their chicken sandwiches, fries, and soft serve ice cream. I'm sure their burgers and other stuff are just as good.
