What Guests Are Saying

Linder Point Campground is praised for its immaculate restrooms, spacious and well-maintained sites, and beautiful location near recreational activities like hiking and fishing. Many guests appreciate the friendly staff and the campground's cleanliness, with ample amenities such as full hookups. However, some visitors experienced issues with electricity at their reserved sites and noise disturbances, which slightly detracted from their overall enjoyment.

It’s easy to get to and close to other campgrounds in the area.
I love the Woodpecker trail. The trailhead is right at the entrance of the campgrounds.
I love that they have full hook ups.
It’s close to bike trails and the fossils by tail water west campgrounds.
It has clean showers and restrooms.
It has a cafe right across the street.
It’s close to Iowa City shopping.
My husband liked the wide pad to back into with our camper.
Excellent reception for a lot of television channels.

Fantastic location. Hope to stop here again whenever we're on our way West. Was weird that you had to go to another campground to check-in or use a dumpster but it wasn't actually that far away. Although we were set up before seeing that we were supposed to check-in before setting us.

VERY clean and the spots were spaced out nicely. It felt like a brand new spot. Lots of tree cover. I will certainly be staying here again! (the only confusing part was trying to check in. There is no booth at the campground, and the "how to" on the board as you enter is very confusing. We ended up setting up and not checking in.)

It would be nice to have a dumpster in the campground. Many people searched for a dumpster and I told them they had to go down by West overlook to get rid of their trash. The tree across from site number 4 needs to be trimmed. Many camper roofs hit the low branches as they were coming in nd leaving. Other than these two things. It's a nice campground

Very nice campground with clean bathrooms. The entire recreational area was wonderful. We were only there for one night but were able to hike and explore (by car) the area. We would definitely recommend this CG as a destination CG.

These are not the most private of campsites if you’re looking for a good tent camping site as this is more for trailers and RVs, but overall a nice and very clean site.

Linder Point is a nicely secluded area at the Coralville Lake. We found it to be quiet and spacious. For those using campers they have a nice parking pad with a sturdy picnic table and a nice fire ring with grill grates. We will be going back often!

Nicely shaded. Moderately sized campsites allowed conducting outdoor conversation without bothering other campers. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Great site. Concrete pad and gravel under the table. Close to lots of attractions. Amana Colonies and the Old Creamery Theater.

I love the fact that this campground was redone and added electric to all the sites. What I don't like is the fact that when we call to make a reservation we're told that you can make a reservation on a weekend unless you take at least 2 days when the people at the check in booth say that's just not true. If there is a space available one can have it for one night on a weekend. It's a great campground with cement pads now and fire rings at every site. GOOD JOB
