We stayed a week after the flatline winds. The campground was cleaned up nicely. We had a lovely time, took our boat out on the reservoir as well. I highly recommend it it was a great stay.

We love this place! We are traveling in a 30ft RV stayed here one night with electricity and water at our lot. Dump station, clean restrooms and shower at the campground. There’s a few playgrounds. We had a good time to walk around campground at the lake.

It is such great area and we had an awesome experience, we don't want to leave a review, because we will never get back in because everyone else will find out about the place!! LOL
Fossil hunting was fun, lots of trails and campgrounds available. Staff (camp host?) was very friendly and helpful. Humongous area to explore.

A lot of great spots with nice views of the water. Beach is all sand no mud and groomed often... Bathrooms need updating.

We enjoyed our view of Coralville Lake, the spacious camping sites and the chance to just be outside.

We plan a week long stay each year. We have camped in West Overlook and Tailwater West complexes for over 12 years. West Overlook is our favorite! If you like to ride a bike, you will love the trail into North Liberty. Mostly flat, but there are a few small hills that are manageable. You can go the opposite way on the same trail and end up in Iowa City. This direction has a few more hill. The beach is another must! Cooling off in the water is so relaxing when on vacation! You want to shop? Coral Ridge Mall is minutes away and many other stores or close by the mall.

Because my husband does not get off work until 4 PM, we always have to leave a day early because of the 3 PM to 4 PM Time to leave. I really wish this could be changed from 4-5 PM. Please advise if this change could happen soon.

From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 miles and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
From Interstate 380 (North Liberty, IA) take Exit 4 towards North Liberty. Travel east on W. Penn St. for 2 miles and turn right onto N Dubuque St. Travel south on N Dubuque St. for 1.9 miles, at the traffic circle, continue straight onto Dubuque St NE. Continue traveling south on Dubuque St. NE for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto West Overlook Rd. NE and travel east for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
