Beautiful Campground. Many sites with a good view of Saylorville Lake even for those sites not right on the water. I had no problem with my 40 foot motorhome leveling my rig. Spacious campsites and beautiful trees.

We haven’t camped a lot so expected someone to come out of building. We didn’t read the sign so found our site. A guy came by our site and literally chewed me out for not checking in. Then Saturday campers next to us, played loud music until 1am. Otherwise the site was nice. Restrooms clean. Grounds good.

The grounds were orderly and tidy, showers were also clean, the hosts were helpful and prompt with solutions. I was very disappointed to learn the tent sites were adjacent to the sewage dump. Please provide tenters sites away from the front entrance of high traffic and of course away from the dump. The Neil Smith bike path was exceptional

The CG was well maintained and in a great location. The bath houses were clean and updated. The roads provided easy access and the campsites offered plenty of space. There are several water spigots throughout the park and a fill/dump station at the entrance. Sites offer50/30/20 amp service and we had no problem with power. Most sites were relatively level and varied in length, with plenty of room for slides. Check-in was easy, staff we talked with was friendly and helpful. Gas station and grocery stores were short drive.

Beautiful campground with mature trees and good views of the lake. Nice facilities. Ankeny and Polk City are very close by with a lot of store options.

Lovely, quiet and well tended campground. Probably the cleanest bathrooms we’ve ever seen! We really enjoyed our stay.
