Superb hosts helped me quite a bit to get through a rocky day with a repair issue. Always feels like 'coming home' at this nice park.

Don’t allow chalk in the campsite location.
It makes a mess and the incoming patron tracts it into their camper.
Weeds were terrible around the fire pit and the site itself.

We have had bad experiences with some campgrounds, but I want to say this was a very pleasant stay!! The woman that greeted us at the check-in booth was very nice and helpful and wished us an enjoyable stay. The campground sites were wonderful...level, contrete, nicely spaced and clean. When we lived in Des Moines we spent alot of time on the boat at Salorville Lake, we hadn't been back in about 25 years, but now that we have a camper and our girls live in Ankeny and Des Moines we will be coming back to visit you much more often at PraireFlower :)
Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Very nice employees at the front gate. We received a great warm welcome! The grounds and shower houses are very clean. We didn't get a chance to go on the walking trails but will definitely do that next time!
