Always a great time, we went right after Memorial Day and had the place to our selves. Watching the sun set at the tip of White Breast Peninsula was breath taking. Took a pontoon out the next day, had a lake lunch, the girls got some sun, Mike and I caught a catfish, carp, crappi and a sm. mouth bass. Perfect day on the lake. Then it was time for the campfire and dinner, yard games, bike ride, beverages! Bathroom/shower amenities close by and always kept stocked and clean. Great place to camp.

Over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, camping here was a fantastic time. No shade from nearby trees, unfortunately. Although they have planted trees right behind the site so in the coming years that won't be an issue. The campground was fairly quiet even for a holiday weekend. Fairly decent fire pit with a grill grate. The area is well taken care of and is close but not too close to the bathroom. The bathrooms were also very clean and decently lit.
No dogs were allowed on the beach which for us was a letdown. But, there are other places to get your feet wet with them.
Overall our trip was very enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We camp at lake red rock quite often and have experienced many different attendants. The attendants, this year are exceptional. Both the gentleman and lady were super enthusiastic and bubbly, super helpful. Grounds immaculate as most coe camp grands are. Bathhouse clean. Very enjoyable weekend! Again, the gate attendants were GREAT!

The campground is well maintained with exceptionally clean bathrooms and shower house! The campsites are generously spaced! Centrally located between Pella and Knoxville with plenty of things to see and do. There are several hiking and biking trails in the area as well!

We found the entire Whitebreast Campground to be immaculately maintained by a friendly and helpful staff. Without a doubt one of the best cared for federal camping facilities we have encountered in our years of camping. Our campsite offered a level gravel pad, electric hookups, fire pit and picnic table along with a beautiful view of the reservoir. We had ample coverage and bandwidth with both Verizon and AT&T. Verizon offered 95 MBps download speeds while AT&T offered 49 MBps; both of which are adequate for virtual meetings and presentations using either WebEx or MS Teams. One thing to keep in mind when visiting is that there are no trash cans or dumpsters inside the campground. There is one central dumpster outside of the campground gate near the sanitary dump station, so depending upon which loop you are camping in, it can be quite the trek to deposit your trash in the designated collection area. All-in-all, great time, beautiful location, awesome staff and did I mention, great bird-watching opportunities? Yup! Bald Eagles, Hawks, various varieties of Woodpeckers, Jays and even Orioles! Will definitely be back!

This was our first time camping at Red Rock. We were extremely pleased with the location and ease of parking our camper at Whitebreast Campground. We will be back! We also drove through the other campgrounds just in case we need a different location.
