Nice quiet place! We used sites 21-24, 37, 38. Sites were large and had lots of big shade trees. Lots of place to ride bike, and the beach is within walking distance. Campground was not full while we were there in the middle of the week, (tues eve- fri morn) but it began to fill up more thursday evening.

We enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of distance between camp sites. Could use more water hydrants in the loop. Not a lot of playground equipment for younger children. Lots of shade. It will be nice when the road across the dam is finished. Nice visitor center. Great bike path but you had to drive there. We would go back.

We got to our site and plugged in and there was no 50amp service. We went to to check in and let the hosts know and electrician was called. It was fixed within 2 hrs.

Picnic tables were in bad condition, need replaced.
Our 110 outlet for electricity did not work.
Our group reunion was a fun time, as usual.

Nice spot. Not a real level area for picnic table but large area. Good lake view. Older shower houses if you use those

We stayed at site #68. Maybe one of the best sites in the campground. Beautiful views. My only complaint would be the fire pit location. Electric only. Fill and dump station at campground entrance. Will stay there again.

Beautiful park campground on Lake Red Rock with lots of space between neighbors. Electric only sites but you can fill and dump your tanks at the entrance. Highly recommend

The local community of Pella is delightful to visit. We always stop at the bakery.
The volunteers are amazing.

We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind. |

Camping units are restricted to one wheeled unit and two tents, or three tents per site. A maximum of eight persons per campsite is allowed. |
