What Guests Are Saying
Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

The facility was immaculate, and the campsites were well spaced. We also had some relatively good fishing from the Bank. Definitely a plus. It’s one of the best parks we have camped in. If you want to get out and look at the surrounding town, it won’t be a waste of time. Pella is a great community, with a lot to offer

We enjoy camping at Howell Station. It is very relaxing and the facilities are great. There are plenty of walking/bicycle trails and also access to the reservoir for pleasure or fishing.

Noon checkout is a bit ridiculous. There’s barely enough time to clean up, let alone spend any time with the friends/family you’re camping with. Please consider extending check out to 2pm
