Howell Station is one of my favorite places to camp, large trees for shade, fishing if you want and the trails are well kept as well a little challenging, I’m 79 years old and can still make the grades. Pella is only a few miles away if you have forgotten anything, or just want to eat out.

Well maintained sites. The size of the sites will spoil you for camping. The cell coverage is non existent but hey! you’re camping.

Love the campground, but HATE the fact that at certain times of the day, I can't even make a simple phone call due to the location down from the dam and earthen retainer. You really need to ad at least WI-FI for the campground, or the internet - OR BOTH !!!!! I mean, the people that check us in CERTAINLY HAVE IT, JUST PUT A NETWORK ""EXTENDER"" ON IT for the people that PAY TO STAY THERE!!!!!!!!!

A beautiful well maintained campground and bike trail. The sites are plenty big.
The town of Pella was a nice place to visit during our trip as well.
