Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

Our host at the checkin station was great. Was a cold weekend but the campground was well mowed and ready for the season.

Beautiful location, large flat camping area, clean fire pit and everything was mowed for the weekend. I love having the bike pass and River. The bath and shower houses were clean and well maintained. My only knock is cell service is very bad. It’s great to not having it but would be nice to have it if you need it!

Host/Hostess were incredibly kind and friendly. The location was fantastic and the spot had so much space. The campground was quiet. The trails within steps were all maintained well and were absolutely fabulous!

We like the openness of the sites, but adding more sites should be looked at due to the popularity of camping it is getting harder to find a site without planning months in advance.
