What Guests Are Saying
Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

Very nice place but in this day and age you should be able to have access to WiFi. My husband is on call and we can not camp when he is because he can’t be reached when we are there.

Our favorite campground! We come here multiple weekends each year(like 10). Our kids love the bike trails, multiple parks, hiking trails and geocaching. Large spots with clean facilities.

The park attendants were very friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to have a great spot near the river. Lots of people out walking in the rec trail, even though temps were kind of cool. Only complaint and it is nobody's fault is that there is almost no cell signal where I was. (US Cellular)

Exceptionally large sites with a lot of space for outside activities. Clean, well-kept bathroom/shower houses. Good concrete paths for biking or hiking. Love to come back every year.
