What Guests Are Saying
Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

Howell Station is a clean, quiet, lovely level campground. Sites are large and very easy to get settled in. We enjoyed the well kept hard-surfaced trails that we could get on right from the campground. We will be back!

Level sites...most important to us.
4 dump stations...excellent.
Some tree branches over hang the road(s)...need to be trimmed.
Otherwise it is one of our favorite campgrounds.
Great walking and biking paths below and above the dam.
We prefer Army Corp of Eng. campgrounds above all the others.

What a beautiful campground! We have never been to a place like this where the camping spots are spread out nicely so that you're not on top of one another. How refreshing. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. We will be back!

as always the campground was neat and clean and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint I have is your web site sucks the camp sites are not in order 1 2 3 they jump around all over the place, it has been a mess for the last three years or so.
