Site #44 was very nice. There was a very decent view of the lake. The site had a nice amount of space, I didn’t feel squished between campers which is important to me. The bathroom at North Overlook Campground was very clean and seemed recently renovated.

Site 17 was calm, peaceful, and close to the bike and walking trails and the beach. The staff were helpful, polite, kind and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we signed for two more nights. We will be back.

We enjoyed the small, quaint campground near Pella. We had a lot of relaxation but we're able to easily grab groceries at Fareway and enjoy downtown Pella. The shower houses were so amazing and clean! Loved the presence of the campground hosts and law enforcement. It was definitely safe.

We love camping at North Overlook. We DO NOT like the new checkout time of 12:00 Noon!! It’s just a bad time to check out, you can’t even have lunch before you get on the road again!! Please change it back to 3:00 PM

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff at the check in point were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were newer and clean. No complaints.

We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind. |

Camping units are restricted to one wheeled unit and two tents, or three tents per site. A maximum of eight persons per campsite is allowed. |
