What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Beach Campground is a well-maintained, clean, and quiet facility with spacious campsites, friendly staff, and immaculate bathrooms. Many visitors appreciate the beautiful views and the peaceful atmosphere, especially during weekdays. However, some noted the lack of a sandy beach for swimming and occasional noise from nearby live music on weekends, along with minor maintenance issues that could be addressed. Overall, guests recommend the campground for its value and pleasant experience.

Great campground. Sites are nice. Could use more centralized dumpster for trash. Same with recyclables.

Sandy Beach is a nice place to camp with the family. Small and quiet which helps make it relaxing. There is a nice little jungle gym for the kids to play on. Plenty of open space to play catch or run around. The restroom facilities were very clean and nice. The host was very helpful for us new-time campers. The only downfall was the "beach" is not really a beach, it's more of an entry point for boats so that was a bit disappointing. Overall a nice place!

Other than drinking fountains "water supply" being closed and boat ramp and beach being flooded it was a good trip. Electrical box kept blowing and the drunks a few camp spots down would be my biggest complaints

the campground is always kept clean and well groomed, the bathrooms are also kept clean (that is a biggie for us), although we didnt see much of a presence of park patrol , everyone camping there was great about quieting down before 10pm. There were 5 families of us camping together that weekend to celebrate birthdays and we all had a great time despite the rain.

Had a nice corner lot, by the restrooms. Nice little park for the granddaughter. Easy boat access. Definitely will be going back.

We chose a space to be next to a water hookup. Come to find out that there was no way to use the water hookup and we had to go out and buy more hose to use a different hookup just to fill our trailer. We had already set up because we planned to fill up after we got everything set up. Not a very good experience. There were only 2 hookups in the area that we were in.
