Great campground work the exception of two of the helpers to harass my brother and sister in law every time about her handicap status. Honestly the woman needs to go out at won't be returning if it keeps up

Sugarbottom is our Summer favorite. Would like to see the map updated to show all of the new water spigots.

Beautiful, well maintained park with full RV services for $26/night! What's not to like? Some people have complained about the road in... It is twisty and up and down but it's very manageable. It's good pavement all the way. Just go slow and there are no problems. We did it in a 33' Class A with a toad. Not hard at all. Site was full service (50A, water and sewer). Some shade from large trees and reasonable separation from your next site neighbor. Surprising, given that the park is an Army Core of Engineers, but the sites aren't level and the sewer connection was raised 8"?? Still easy enough to handle with our levelers and stinky-slinky. Iowa river made for a nice morning paddle (they even offer a free loaner program for life jackets) and a quick dip in the sandy swim area.
