What Guests Are Saying
Riverside East is a beautiful and peaceful campground with clean sites and ample space between them, making it ideal for families and recreational activities. While the bathrooms are outdated and occasionally not well-maintained, the overall atmosphere is quiet and secluded, with easy access to the river. Some campers reported issues with access and certain amenities, but many enjoyed their stay and appreciated the natural surroundings.

We had an absolute wonderful time camping at Riverside East. Beautiful campground, caught some really nice fish, nice weather with the exception of some rain on Saturday. Great experience!

We really enjoyed our time there. The only think we noticed was people were confused on the camp location. Alot would drive around our loop not realizing they needed to turn down the gravel lane to get to the other sites along the river. Maybe if signs with arrows and numbers would really help. We plan to come back next year and maybe be volunteers!

The site we were in was a bit claustrophobic, it was backed in the trees, giving no view of the river.tge camper blocked the view outward.

It’s always a peaceful stay, lots of wildlife, Turkeys, deer, lots of rabbits. The park ranger is one of the kindest fellas you will meet, can’t say so much for the game wardens, there not very friendly. LOL

Very quiet campground. Some sites are very spaced out. Nice covered picnic tables. Vault toilet was clean. Water right at campsite.

Great place to get away. No sewer but you have water and electric. The picnic tables are covered and on cement pads.
