This is one of our favorite camping spots. The town has lots of history and you could easily spend an afternoon walking around reading the historical markers in town. While your out walking, visit the businesses on main street for a tasty dinner or a unique gift. When your finished sight seeing, come back to Richey Cove and relax in a clean, well shaded and relaxing environment. Love this campground!

There was no potable water available. Thankfully the neighbor in the campsite next to us was kind enough to let us hook to their hydrant. Had to stretch 275 feet of hose to reach our campers. Unfortunately for the camper farthest away our hoses were 15 feet to short. We talked to several rangers regarding the lack of water and they were aware but just haven't got around to fixing it. But the rangers had plenty of time making sure you followed all their other rules. Other than the lack of water, it was a decent group campsite.
