Great campground! Large sites, trees, walking paths, friendly and informative staff. Bathhouse is very nice but needs more hooks and a bench in showers. Quirky layout - you need to go outside to go from toilet area to shower area. It is not only inconvenient, but it can also cause an issue if the facilities are needed before/after your shower. You must redress, go outside and cross over to the restroom area. Not a great layout. Could be changed by creating a hallway between; one can only hope! We definitely would and will stay here again. Other than the bathhouse it was fantastic! One night; 22' van.

Parking area gravel was very uneven with ruts, difficult for me walking. Bathroom was nice and clean.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Enjoyed being near dam outflow. Site 33 has only morning shade, then full sun.

First. No matter which way you come into this campground you are going in on gravel roads. The road in the campground is paved. At a higher level than many of the sites. Rain started shortly after I parked. With half an hour there was approximately 7 inches of water covering my site.
Also despite the reviews of the campground saying it has some cell service, it has none.
Looking at the facilities buildings around this project. Much of it is boarded up. Obviously an old facility that is dying of neglect.

Pretty campground, nice spacing between sites. 2 camp hosts were on site and kept the campground mowed and restrooms clean. Nice playgrounds and a nice big shelter house, too. Camp host were friendly and welcoming. Saw them out working every day.
