We had no tv reception and no cell service. It would have been better if we had them. The assistant park ranger was very nice.

We arrived to no water and the shower house locked. The next morning, a park ranger stopped and told us that we were not supposed to be there. The site we reserved was to be blocked because of tree work that was scheduled. Because we had printed out reservation, we were not made to move and the water was turned on the next morning. The spot we were in is more bare dirt than rock or grass and was muddy several days. The park ranger was courteous and polite which speaks worlds about him.

Loved the campground; sits right on Somerville Lake, spacious sites, friendly volunteers.
Bathrooms could use a little work. They were clean. 1 of the 2 men’s shower nozzles and its wall bracket needs replacing. Water pressure and temp were good.

very disappointed with the lack of access to the water below the dam. The big rocks are dangerous to cross.

My family of 30 had a wonderful time at this campsite! It's peaceful, beautiful and we had sunny days for our entire stay of 11 days!!!

Many trees need extensive repair - dead trees and branches over the camper and truck. The area has no phone service.

Mostly clean bathrooms and showers, need new shower curtains. Love that there's lots of different types of trees. From oak, hickory, pecan and others. Park is clean and the host is friendly and checks on you daily to see if you need anything even firewood. Love that. The last place didn't even say hi.

Not well maintained, lots of dead tree branches which had potential to come off and damage trailer. Bathrooms rather shabby. People couldnt switch or get new site even though camp was empty, host was kind but couldnt help you. Electricity was out on numerous sites and had to work on it twice. Sites were not posted as reserved and many sites didnt have numbers. We have never had such an experience could be a grest spot but we will not return due to all the problems and lack of anyone to help you.

It is a nice campground and we have gone there a number of times over the years. It would be nice if some day the corp. added small covers over the concrete tables that are provided. It is quite hot below the dam during July and August so it would be nice to have a bit more shade.
