What Guests Are Saying
Whitehall Bay offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning lake views and well-spaced sites, making it a great escape from city life. The campgrounds are generally clean, with good facilities such as hot showers and individual/group sites equipped with electricity and water. However, access roads are rough and poorly maintained, and some restroom facilities could use better upkeep. Overall, it's a lovely location for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

I took my 6 year old for our first annual father/son camping trip and we both had a great time. The campsites were clean and not crowded. The bath areas had been updated and were pretty clean. All in all it was a great experience but there were a few things that could have been better. The electric at the campsite I reserved wasn't working and the office was closed. I wasn't able to tell anyone as I wasn't even aware that we had a camp host until I talked to a camp host from a neighboring sight stopped by as we were packing up to leave. Also the swim area border had come undone but that was not a big deal. Love the lake and Whitehall Bay. I have for 43 years and my dad has for 75. Thank you

Our RV needs 12 feet of overhead clearance all of the way across the roadway, some tree limbs really need to be cut, we now have a new dent in the awning Assembly, and fill in the holes with gravel and asphalt would be nice as well.

There are several very good walking trails we enjoyed. Our campsite had great shade and access to the lake. The road back to the area is not the greatest, so drive slowly. Once there, we thought it was a beautiful site. Our overall experience was very good, but we were a little disappointed in the day-to-day maintenance. The bathhouse at the entrance to the area was in extreme need of a cleaning. We used the one farther down and it was better.

This campground is remote and exactly what I was looking for. The views from my camper were of the lake and brought peace to my soul. There were enough trees to offer shade and a place to hang my hammock. I will be going back.
